Eight cities among the top 50 cities had over Rs 1 lakh crore mutual fund AUM and the percentage change they witnessed in the last one, three, and five years, according to a report by Geojit.

Mumbai

The city had the largest AUM of Rs 17.75 lakh crore as of March 2025 and is around 33.44% to the AUM. The AUM of this city has changed by 24%, 61.3%, and 55% in the last one, three, and five years respectively.

Delhi

The city had an AUM of Rs 8.31 lakh crore as of March 2025 and is around 14.59% to the AUM. The AUM of this city has changed by 23.9%, 58.5%, and 70.2% in the last one, three, and five years respectively.

Bengaluru

The city had an AUM of Rs 3.55 lakh crore as of March 2025 and is around 5.56% to the AUM. The AUM of this city has changed by 21.1%, 63.4%, and 72.8% in the last one, three, and five years respectively.
