Trump to call Putin on Monday to end 'bloodbath' in Ukraine after peace talks progress
US President Donald Trump announced he will speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday to push for an immediate ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war, which he called a ‘bloodbath.’ The announcement follows the first direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in over three years, resulting in a new prisoner exchange deal.
