
This third merit list brings an end to the centralised counselling process for CLAT 2025 admissions to undergraduate law programmes across participating NLUs. Shortlisted candidates must confirm their seat by completing fee payment within the given deadlines.
Final Admission Phase Begins
With the release of the third merit list, the final round of CLAT UG counselling has officially started. Candidates allotted seats must pay a confirmation fee of ₹20,000 by June 23, 2025, 1 PM. Following this, the full university fee is to be paid directly to the allotted NLU by June 27, 2025, 5 PM.Since this is the last round of centralised counselling, students happy with their seat allotment should select the “Freeze” option. The “Float” option is no longer available.
Category-Wise Closing Ranks Released
The merit list also includes the closing ranks for each category at participating NLUs. For example, at NLSIU Bengaluru, the cut-offs are:- General: 460
- KA OBC: 1541
- SC: 3133
- ST W: 4343
- EWS PwD W: 7286
NLU-Specific Cut-Offs and Reservation Details
Candidates can view category-wise and NLU-wise closing ranks, covering various reservation categories like General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD. The third merit list also provides candidate details, including All India Rank, admit card number, and reservation category, offering complete transparency in the selection process.Any vacant seats after this round will be handled through individual NLU-level counselling.

Candidates selected in the third merit list must:Pay the confirmation fee of ₹20,000 by June 23, 2025, 1 PM
Submit the full university fee to their allotted NLU by June 27, 2025, 5 PM
Since this is the final round, candidates should regularly check individual NLU websites for updates on any additional institute-level counselling for unfilled seats.
