He smashed 57 runs off just 33 balls, including four fours and as many maximums. Captain Sanju Samson scored 41 runs to navigate the innings through the middle overs, while Dhruv Jurel finished with a flourish, scoring an unbeaten 31 off just 12 balls.
For CSK, experienced spinner R Ashwin took the wickets of Samson and Suryavanshi in a single over. However, there was not much for other bowlers. Anshul Kamboj bowled an economical spell of 1/21 in 3 overs.
