The Tata Group's IT services arm, along with the government's Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), won the Rs 15,000 crore mega deal from BSNL in May 2023 as part of the telco's 4G expansion plan with an end-to-end indigenous stack and without dependence on global providers like Ericsson, Nokia or Huawei.
