    Eicher Motors shares rise 2% after Q4 profit jumps 27% YoY, beats estimates

    Eicher Motors shares rose 2% in eary trade to their day’s high of Rs 5,559.60 on the BSE on Thursday after the company posted a strong set of Q4FY25 numbers, with consolidated net profit rising 27% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,362 crore, beating Street estimates of Rs 1,265 crore. In the same quarter last year, the company had reported a profit of Rs 1,070 crore.

    Revenue from operations for the quarter ended March stood at Rs 5,241 crore, up 23% from Rs 4,256 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

    The profit after tax (PAT) rose 16% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,362 crore, compared to Rs 1,170 crore in Q3FY25, while total revenue from operations grew 5.4% sequentially from Rs 4,973 crore in Q3FY25.

    The earnings were announced after market hours, and shares of Eicher Motors today ended at Rs 5,447 on the NSE, rising by Rs 28 or 0.52%.

    For the full financial year, Eicher Motors' net profit stood at Rs 4,734 crore versus Rs 4,001 crore in FY24, witnessing an 18% rise. On the other hand, sales jumped 14% to Rs 18,870 crore in FY25 versus Rs 16,536 crore in FY24.

    Eicher Motors recorded its highest-ever revenue from operations at Rs 5,241 crore for the quarter under review while the Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 1,258 crore, up 11.4% year-on-year.

    Royal Enfield posted its highest-ever quarterly sales with 2,80,801 motorcycles, a 23.2% growth over Q4 FY24. It also recorded a landmark milestone, crossing 1 million annual sales for the first time. Total volumes stood at 10,02,893 units, a 10% YoY increase. Domestic sales grew 8.1% to 9,02,757 units, while international volumes grew 29.7%, with 1,00,136 motorcycles exported.

    VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV)


    VECV reported revenue from operations of Rs 23,548 crore, reflecting a 7.7% growth over last year. EBITDA stood at Rs 2,023 crore and Profit After Tax rose to Rs 1,286 crore. VECV sold 90,000 units in FY25, growing 5.4% over FY24.

    Commenting on the results, Chairman Siddhartha Lal called FY25 a remarkable year where the company delivered exceptional performance across both Royal Enfield and VE Commercial Vehicles.

    "In the motorcycle business, the middleweight segment saw a lot of action from our peers. Remaining unfazed and maintaining focus on our strategic goals and community, Royal Enfield stood head and shoulders above everyone else to sell one million motorcycles annually, for the first time in its history. With several global award winning and category defining motorcycles now sitting within the Royal Enfield portfolio, we are super excited and confident about the possibilities that lie ahead of us," he said.
