In the Nifty pack, 43 stocks were trading in the green, while 7 stocks were trading in the red.

A broker reacts while trading at his computer terminal at a stock brokerage firm in Mumbai — Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 475.28 points up at 82530.39 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Integrated Hitech Ltd.(down 10.00 per cent), Aananda Lakshmi Spin(down 9.95 per cent), Omni Axs Software (down 8.62 per cent), Cochin Malabar(down 6.63 per cent) and TTI Enterprise(down 6.24 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 43 stocks traded in the green, while 7 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 136.16 points up at 25180.5.

On the BSE, Hipolin Ltd, Archana Software, Omega Inter.Tech, Sadhana Nitro and Prime Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while RR Financial, Rainbow Found, Indosolar Ltd, iStreet Network and LKP Finance touched their fresh 52-week highs.
