Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

The NSE Nifty index closed 42.3 points down at 25019.8

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 68.07 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 19.34 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 13.10 crore), Bharti Airtel(numbers of share traded: 10.07 crore), IRFC(numbers of share traded: 8.55 crore), IFCI(numbers of share traded: 8.38 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 7.78 crore), BEL(numbers of share traded: 6.89 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 6.63 crore) and Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 5.64 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 42.3 points down at 25019.8, while BSE Sensex ended down 200.15 points at 82330.59.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.85 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 2.13 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.94 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.59 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
